3 Things Helped David Make His 16-Week Transformation

Life is too short to waste years trying to get in the shape you want.
David was ready to get quick results. He came to Ultimate Performance and achieved his physique goals in 16 short weeks.
He explains that he achieved more in those 16 weeks than he has in a whole lifetime.

A lifelong runner, David had competed in marathons and triathlons but said nothing compared to the intensity and effort of training with his UP trainer.
"I found out that there is so much more to training than I ever imagined," he says.
"I have trained for half marathons and triathlons before, but I soon realised I had never been pushed to the extreme.

David's impressive transformation is the result of hard work, consistency and trust in the process alongside his trainer.

But he says that three things, in particular, he has taken from his time working with his personal trainer.
1. Diet: You are what you eat, to use an old cliché, is the best way to describe one of my favourite benefits. When I was initially handed the 21-day kick-off PDF, I was blown away with how many changes I needed to make. I was very sceptical, but after a few weeks into the program, I knew I had been eating wrong for the majority of my life.
2. Discipline: When I began, Michael asked me to cut a lot out of my life, and I knew it would be the hardest aspect of the process.
I’m in an industry that has a lot of emphasis on entertaining and going out to eat. Saying no to a lot of my usual vices was difficult, but when I started seeing the results, it only emboldened me to push it further. Soon it was easier to say no, and I began genuinely looking forward to the workout sessions.
3. Knowledge: The knowledge of how to train and what exercises will benefit each muscle is now an incredible asset. American football was the only time I ever trained with weights, and there was only a focus on exercises that would benefit on the field. Michael took the time to explain how each individual exercise would benefit what muscle. He even knew each name of the muscle which I found very impressive!
